Deleting an Employee

Deleting an Employee

EX Error: "The employee you are trying to delete is currently clocked in.  You will need to clock them out before they can be deleted"
This message is indicating they have a clock time that needs to be reviewed.

To View Employees Clock Time

  1. Click on PAYROLL, EDIT TIME CLOCK
  2. Set your Start Date back to 01/01/2000 and  End Date to the current date
  3. Click the radio button "FOR THIS EMPLOYEE ONLY" and select your employee
  4. All the items that are marked "REVIEW" in red need to be fixed
  5. If you get a message overlapping clock date/time, this means that another time clock entry used a time that overlaps with the time you are using
  6. After you have fixed all the reviewed items you should be able to delete your employee
  7. In some cases the time clock is fine, it's the job clock that has items that need reviewing.  You would use the same process except you would go PAYROLL, EDIT JOB CLOCK.
