Did You Know that you can change the vehicle - or the customer and vehicle on a MaxxTraxx repair order.

Did You Know that you can change the vehicle - or the customer and vehicle on a MaxxTraxx repair order.

If you have security on in MaxxTraxx, you will need to go into setups/security groups / select the security group needed / under the Service Department and Customer Information heading (last one) check the box to allow this feature in the security group assigned to the employees.  This is a new security feature.

Occasionally a repair order is written for the wrong vehicle, or even the wrong customer and vehicle. MaxxTraxx makes it easy to correct that in a few simple mouse clicks.
  • Open the repair order from the service schedule

  • Click the Options button or press the F2 key

  • From the dropdown click on either Change Customer and Vehicle or Change Vehicle for this Customer.

From there just follow the prompts to make your changes:

If the vehicle you want to put on the repair order is assigned to a different customer, go to that customer's master record:

  • Find and highlight the vehicle, then click on the Vehicle Options button.

  • Click on the Transfer Vehicle line and make the needed changes.
