Did You Know that you can change the vehicle - or the customer and vehicle on a MaxxTraxx repair order.
If you have security on in MaxxTraxx, you will need to go into setups/security groups / select the security group needed / under the Service Department and Customer Information heading (last one) check the box to allow this feature in the security group assigned to the employees. This is a new security feature.
Occasionally a repair order is written for the wrong vehicle, or even the wrong customer and vehicle. MaxxTraxx makes it easy to correct that in a few simple mouse clicks.
Open the repair order from the service schedule
Click the Options button or press the F2 key
From the dropdown click on either Change Customer and Vehicle or Change Vehicle for this Customer.
From there just follow the prompts to make your changes:
If the vehicle you want to put on the repair order is assigned to a different customer, go to that customer's master record:
Find and highlight the vehicle, then click on the Vehicle Options button.
Click on the Transfer Vehicle line and make the needed changes.
