How to setup MaxxBucks

How to setup MaxxBucks

MaxxBucks is a customer rewards program that can be customized in many ways.  It is essentially a "rewards points" system.  A customer can earn these points depending upon how much money they spend at your shop.  They can also be redeemed on a future bill as a discount.  We track them in dollar amounts rather than "points" to make it easier for the shop and the customers.

To set up MaxxBucks, click the Gear icon to bring up the Settings menu.  Under Marketing, select "MaxxBucks Setup."

Check the "Use MaxxBucks Merchandising Utility" box to enable MaxxBucks.

There are also many other settings available here that will customize your MaxxBucks program.  You can rename it to appear in MaxxTraxx as whatever you wish (as noted in the example above).  You can also set limits on how many MaxxBucks are earned per ticket, depending upon payment methods.  Finally, you can set how many MaxxBucks can be applied as a discount to any given ticket.

Info
NOTE:  The system by default will apply any earned MaxxBucks to the cost of Parts first.  Any left over balance will then be applied to Labor.
