MaxxTraxx comes with 27 different payment methods to use for closing out Repair Orders. You have the ability to hide the ones you don't use and edit the ones that you do use.
To find and edit these payment methods:
1. Go to Setups, the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of MaxxTraxx
2. Click on Payment Methods, D in the Accounting column
In the window that opens you will find all of the available payment methods you can use to close out RO's. In here you will be able to do the following:
1. Edit the payment method by highlighting it and then clicking on the edit button at the bottom
a. In Edit mode, the blue options are hard coded and can only be made active or not
b. The black ones, towards the bottom of the list, are fully editable. You can add a description, choose to make it active or not and decide if it is a check or credit card payment type.
2. Choose if you would like to have a default payment method or not by checking or unchecking the box at the top left of the window
a. To set a default method of payment you can highlight the one you would like to set and the right click and choose set as default
