Additional Payroll Wage and GL accounts for Covid-19
Question - We have to separate any wages given that were due to the Covid-19. They need to have a separate descriptions and GL account.
- Go to Setups
- Accounting & Payroll
- Default Account Posting
- Payroll Wages - User Definable
- Click the edit button to edit the description to fit the Covid-19 description
- Click the Assign GL Account# button
- The new GL account can be added from this screen by clicking the "add GL Acct" button in the lower left to show the GL description to fit the Covid-19 description
- When done select it to assign it
