Additional Payroll Wage and GL accounts for Covid-19

Question -  We have to separate any wages given that were due to the Covid-19.  They need to have a separate descriptions and GL account.

  1. Go to Setups
  2. Accounting & Payroll
  3. Default Account Posting
  4. Payroll Wages - User Definable
  5. Click the edit button to edit the description to fit the Covid-19 description
  6. Click the Assign GL Account# button
  7. The new GL account can be added from this screen by clicking the "add GL Acct" button in the lower left to show the GL description to fit the Covid-19 description
  8. When done select it to assign it
