Miscellaneous Lists in MaxxTraxx Setups

In this help article you will find information on each section of the Miscellaneous Lists Category in MaxxTraxx Setups

A  Vehicle Problem Categories

Here you are able to edit and add Vehicle Problem and Request for Service categories that appear when you want to add one to a Repair Order . See the image below for reference.

B  Vehicle Problem - Lead in Text

Here you can edit the text that comes before your Vehicle Problem, Request for Service, Recommended Service and Notes section in printed RO's


C  Repair Order Status

Here you can edit or add status's for your repair orders. You can edit the Description, Text color and Background Color that appears on your schedule

D  Part Invoice Status

Similar to Repair Order Status you can edit or add status's for your Parts Counter. This includes Description, Text Color and Background Color.

E  Cancellations Reasons

Here you can add or edit reasons for cancelled Appointments and Voided Repair Orders


F  Declined Services

This section lets you edit and add reasons that customers decline services. 


G  Vehicle Types

Here you can add or edit vehicle types to choose from in MaxxTraxx. You can set a default vehicle type that the system will revert to when adding a new vehicle to a Customer account. 

You can also set up whether or not you track mileage and engine hours for each vehicle type. 


H  Telephone Types

Here you can add or edit which telephone type you can select when adding phone numbers to customer accounts. 


I  Zip Codes

This section is a list of zip codes you can add or edit. When creating a new customer, if you enter the zip code it will auto populate the city and state. 

J  Countries 

Here you can add or edit countries that you can select from in the Customer record > General tab > Country drop down.



K  Time clock Reasons

In Time clock reasons you can add or edit reasons employees can choose from when clocking in and out of work.

L  Job Clock Reason

Similar to Time clock reasons, descriptions added or edited here will appear when employees are clocking in and out of Job's on RO's

M  Shipping Methods

Here you can add or edit Shipping methods used for Part Orders. Right click any of the options to be able to set one of them as default. 



For these options to appear you must first select a ship date. 


N  Digital Vehicle Inspection Templates

Here you can add or edit Vehicle Inspection Templates to add to Repair Orders. Use the links below for step by step instructions on how to set them up and a video that walks you through the process as well.

Did you know that you can see failed vehicle inspections on the service schedule screen. 

When using the built-in Vehicle Inspection feature in MaxxTraxx, the number of failed inspection items can appear on the main Service Schedule screen. 
When setting up the Vehicle Inspection in the Setups Menu, be sure to check the box marked "Show On Failed List" as shown below


When a technician marks items as "Failed" on the inspection, the number of items that need attention appear in a bright red box in the "Insp" column. This alerts the manager or advisor to look at the inspection. There is no need for the technician to stop working on the vehicle and bring the inspection to the office. 


O  Tasklist categories

Here you can edit the task categories that show up in the Quick Picks > Task List > Add Task 


This tool is used to set up different tasks or Appointments you want to complete

P  Tasklist Statuses

Similar to Tasklist Categories, here you can add or edit the different statuses that appear in Quick Picks > Task List > Add Task



Q  Phone Number Formats

Here you can add or edit different phone number formats that appear when you add a phone number to a customer account in the Select Format option. You can also add and edit them from the steps above as well.
