MaxxTraxx now gives shop managers the ability to pause a repair order and remove it from the service Schedule, Status Workflow, and Tech Workflow screens. The repair order still exists, it is just hidden from view. This can be useful for busy shops that may have long-term carryovers.
The first step is to find the repair order on the Status Workflow, Tech Workflow, or Service Schedule screen.
From the Status Workflow or Tech Workflow screens, just right-click on the repair order to bring up the review and editing tile.
If you are on the Service Schedule screen, highlight the selected repair order then right-click on it.
This will open the repair order editing tile. In the lower left corner of the tile there is a checkbox next to a line that reads "Pause Repairs and Hide Appt".
Check that box to pause the repair order. The repair order will no longer be seen on any of the display screens.
To remove a repair order from paused status on the Status Workflow or Tech Workflow screens, find the Filter dropdown box on the left side of the window. Click the down arrow and change the setting to Show Only Hidden Items.
The display will now show any paused repair orders or appointments. Right click on the repair order to open the editing tile.
This time, un-check the box next to the "Pause Repairs and Hide Appt" line.
This will put the repair order back on display.
If you are viewing the Service Schedule screen, click on the Filter dropdown near the lower left of the window, then click the Show Only Hidden Appts and Repair Orders line.
This will again display all the paused repair orders. Right click on the repair order line to open the editing tile. Un-check the box next to the "Pause Repairs and Hide Appt" line to put the repair order back on display.
