Potential scam phone calls

Important Notice: Phone Scam Targeting Automotive Repair Shops

We’ve been made aware of a recent phone scam that is targeting automotive repair businesses. While no MaxxTraxx shops have been reported as victims, we want to keep our community informed and prepared.

The scam typically involves a caller, claiming to be from MaxxTraxx, contacting the shop owner or manager and saying a credit is owed. They then request bank account or credit card information under the pretense of ensuring proper delivery of that credit. Please be advised: if you do have a credit on file, MaxxTraxx already has your billing details.

If you receive a call like this from someone you don’t recognize, hang up immediately and reach out to our Business Office to verify the situation. You can contact us at (800) 996-9777 and select option 3.

Your security is important to us — stay vigilant and don’t hesitate to call with any concerns.

As always, the Support Team is here if you have questions or need help.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 5am to 5pm PST. (Excluding Holidays)
